THE ALCHEMY SERIES
…a long journey for those wishing to delve deeply…
This intensive is for dancers and movers wishing to surrender to the beauty of the present moment. With a focus on improvisation, participants release hidden tension patterns and blocks, allowing an affirmation and expansion of movement vocabulary. We then embark on a vertical journey into the core of the creative self, discovering the deep transformational connections that can be made between inner life and outer expression. The workshop includes discussion, dancing, showing and sharing and is designed for performers wishing to honour the uniqueness of their moving body, embrace creative impulse and expand understanding of their artistic process. Alchemy engages the heart in a rich and joyful exploration to find the motherlode.
Weekly improvised performances culminate in a final showing for invited guests. Beginners and Experienced Alchemists Encouraged.
