APRIL ALCHEMY DAY
…a NOURISHING DAY for a TASTE OF ALCHEMY...
This day of DANCE IMPROVISATION is a gateway to presence, connection and joy. In the generosity of the space, we will develop TRUST in our inner world - listening to our intuition and following our impulses with CREATIVITY, EASE and JOY.
Together, we will celebrate the profound beauty and wisdom of the BODY, allowing this to inspire and activate the dance. We will create space to sense, feel and explore the language of the HEART, experiencing movement as a tender, dynamic expression of our most radiant and authentic sense of self.
The Alchemy Day is an opportunity to experience the GIFT of embodied awareness: presence, connection, creativity and receptivity. Through movement, writing and sharing, we will honour the expressive body, liberate creativity and cultivate community. Alchemy Dance nourishes the heart and enriches the spirit in a transformative Life/Art practice.

ALCHEMY AUTUMN SERIES
...a journey of SELF-DISCOVERY through MINDFUL MOVEMENT...
This ALCHEMY DANCE 6-week series is an opportunity to embody the release and rejuvenation of Autumn. Through dance improvisation, we will explore connection, creativity and community through mindful engagement with the body and breath. We will develop trust in the wisdom of the body, with our hearts, intuition and imagination inspiring the Dance. Together, we will embark on a rich excavation of our inner life and outer expression, discovering beauty, joy and vitaility in every moving moment. We will experience the power of presence, giving voice to what words cannot convey. In an environment of unconditional positive regard, movement will become an expansive, dynamic expression of our most authentic sense of self.
Through moving, witnessing and reflecting, this workshop honours the expressive body, liberates creativity and cultivates community. Alchemy engages the heart and enriches the spirit in a transformative Art/Life practice.

ALCHEMY DEEP DIVE WEEKEND
...a DEEPER dive for the experienced Alchemist...
In this 2-day ADVANCED INTENSIVE, improvised movement will uncover the DEPTH of who you really are. We will strenghten our trust in embodied wisdom, deepening the profound connection between inner life and outer expression. In an environment of inspiration and compassion, longer immersions and performance events will summon SPONTANEOUS COMPOSITION.
Can mindful AWARENESS release CREATIVE FLOW? Can our dance RADIATE with our inherent BEAUTY? Can INTENTION be the ENGINE of our Art? Can we be BOLD and COURAGEOUS in our commitment to presence? This workshop will broaden our expressive pallette through movement, sound, spoken word and song. In a process of distillation, improvised movement motifs will affirm and honour the sacred artist within.

ALCHEMY TEACHER TRAINING 2025
These two weekends are designed for students seeking to begin or rejuevenate their teaching practice through understanding the gestation and evolution of Alchemy Dance. Insights are provided into the Alchemy provenance, pedagogy and practices designed by Alchemy Founder and teacher, Anne O'Keeffe (42 years professional teaching/arts experience). Weekend One will focus on Alchemy Provenance, Philosophy, Principles and Practices. Weekend Two will focus on Sowing the Seeds: what needs watering to help our teaching or leadership vision grow and thrive. Students are then invited to Take the Floor (optional): to lead a trial class inspired by Alchemy methodologies, and receive constructive feedback on their teaching. Part Three of the training is the Mentoring Program (optional one:one support from Anne).
Anne's intention is to create a dynamic teaching community, united by similar philosophy and principles. If interested, this training program is the initial step towards Alchemy Teacher Accreditation, where YOU can teach the Alchemy work, carrying Anne's torch into the future.
DATES: Sat/Sun JUNE 21 and 22 and Sat/Sun JUNE 28 and 29.

Do you need a personalised, one-on-one program of Alchemy Dance Improvisation for your a creative-life journey? Based on your intentions, I offer movement invitations to support and inspire you to embrace your authenticity, activate your creativity and empower you to share your unique gifts. Mentoring is also provided for teachers and creatives for career planning, performance development and direction.
This is an opportunity to DELVE DEEPER into your dance or movement practice, summoning the body's profound intelligence to create a PATH WITH HEART.
Based on your needs, each session can be 1, 1.5 or 2 hours long - either live or online.
With 42 years as a teacher, dancer, choreographer, actor, director, writer, performer and theatre/TV movement coach, JOIN ME to uncover the GOLD of your GREATNESS!

Investment: $150 full / $120 concession per hour. (1.5 hours: $210 / $180)
